Tavern on the Green

They have a weekend brunch special that is an unbelievable deal but you have to go there to find out what it is. The food hot and serve quickly. There weren't too many people there when we went but it was a holiday. If you go there you have to try the smashed potatoes.

Went there for lunch. Like the previous reviews beautiful location however, very slow service.
We mentioned a gluten allergy and were offered a lettuce wrapped burger as they don't offer gluten free bread or buns.

Took forever to get ice for our waters and a long time to pay our bill.

The service definitely needs to speed up.

We went for the $4.99 breakfast which was fantastic! Coffee was great and the views and atmosphere were very nice. However, even with a reservation they initially put us at a inner patio table even though most of the outside tables were empty (betterviews). Unfortunately it also took our server 35 minutes to take our order or to check on us. From sit down to bill payment it was over an hour. The music playing did not match the location and or atmosphere (90s backstreet boys etc..)

Minor tweaks in service and music and it's an excellent choice for brunch!
