Heard about this place from the Internet and some friends who came by while searching for a place to take my kids as they are interested in fishing. The kids were getting kinda bummed out putting a line in the water each weekend and not getting any bites. Well for sure this place solved that problem.

From Vancouver, it is a bit of a drive to get out here however it is an easy drive and the scenery is nice and it is easy to find. The location consists of several large pools on the property filled with aquifer water and an Aquaculture system. You can see rainbow Trout jumping and breaking the surface all over the place. There are well marked out COVID stalls for fishing and they have seemingly good protocols for COVID in place.

When you arrive, there is a 10 dollar per person entry fee which gets deducted from the price of the fish that you take home eventually and then you are given a quick tour and a classic bamboo fishing rod with an indicator and treble hook. They give you a bit of bait and you put it on the hook yourself and toss your line note into the pool. In our experience it is less than 10 seconds before he can see the fish nibbling at the hook and eventually one will bite and you land the fish.

The stocked fish are said to be no shorter than 11 in in size and range up to 26 in in size. They appeared to be all rainbow Trout. You are given a bucket filled with clean water and the fish are placed the bucket after you catch them to carry them out later. You can get as many fish as you like, however once you have a fish on the hook you cant throw them back so you are obligated to keep it and pay for it. Overall, my 3 boys had an amazing time tossing a line in the water and guaranteed to get nibbles and bites and a finding fish on the line. They had a grand time grabbing the fish on the ground and putting them back in the water in the bucket.

When we were there, there were very few people and the processing to get in and get out was very quick. Just to get a sense for the pricing, it varies by length of fish caught and each one is measured and priced. Our four fish ranged from 11-13.5 in and cost 65 dollars minus the 40 dollar entrance fee.

Overall was a great experience, the kids have their fishing sense of adventure back and are ready to head back to the rivers and lakes around BC once again!

My family came out there today for my son's 10th birthday it was such a fun experience for all of us especially for the kids and there was plenty of fish! Reading the reviews made me kind of nervous to go but our experience was the total opposite of the negative reviews. Dan and his wife were so sweet and very accomadating. Thank you so much for such a great experience we will definitely come back again!!

This place was great before COVID, but the last time we went, every "fishing station" was taken up and no one appeared to be catching anything.

When we went up to the owner, he wanted to charge us a non-refundable flat fee of $10/each—$30 total for our group—to be deducted from the fish we catch (if we caught anything at all) and there was only a few hours before closing. In comparison, before COVID they would only charge for what you actually caught (based on the size and number of fish you caught).

If you go there and it's not crowded, it's great. But if it looks crowded, say bye bye to your $10 deposit.

Great fun for kids! Absolutely worry free as you don’t need to bring your own gear and don’t need a fishing license. Everything is provided there.
It’s very much mom and pop operation. Simple and down to earth. I’d say the communication is a bit too direct by the times, and the fishing rods could use some upgrading, but at the end of the day it doesn’t matter as my kids couldn’t care less about those details. They just have so much fun!
