Campbell Lake Trail Head

Amazing views and lots of shops.

Great trail with nice incline and pay off views of the lake at top

Long hike but worth it. Went there while there was lots of smoke in the air so you couldn't see too far, but most of the trail is covered by trees so you'd not see much anyways.

This trail is only possible thanks to the markers. There's quite a few trails that branch out from the main one. Most of them might end up at the same destination, one being more steep than the other, but whenever in doubt always follow the markers.

The hiking trail is not well marked in the beginning part of it. It's all guess work before you start seeing the trail markers. The markers are not consistent like on the other trails and for someone going the first time they'll have to look for the markers before proceeding. It's isolated and not frequented by people. On the Vancouver trail the round trip distance is mentioned as 7kms but my fitness watch clocked 12kms.

It's a good workout as it gets steep on many points. Proper hiking shoes are a must. The initial terrain is Rocky and there's a lot of overgrowth before the forest area begins

It's a good workout with varied challenges. Great for training for those all day hikes! If you can hike Campbell Lake trail you can hike almost anything.
