FYidoctors - Chilliwack - Doctors of Optometry

I had a darkness in my periperhal vision of one eye. I tried to get into a few local places. It felt urgent to me, but all were booked for a few weeks, including FYI. The receptionist sensed the urgency and made room for me first thing the next day regardless. The doctor confirmed a detached retina and got me into a specialist within hours who performed emergency intervention.
Had I waited for one of the other local appointments, I could have had permanent vision damage.

Testing was through and glasses for me and my granddaughter are great, helping both of us to see better. Two of my grandchildren didn’t need glasses.

Staff (Shelby especially) are kind, personable and helpful. Dr. Abigail Asirvatham is thorough, highly knowledgable and person-centered. I feel listened to and that the time is taken to answer any questions that I have. For the last 20+ years I've received 10/10 quality service. I highly recommend working with this team!

Amazing staff. Very friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. Answered all my questions through the exam(s) right through to ordering two new pair of glasses.
