Woodbine Townhomes

Quite happy here. Price is hard to beat! If you mind your business you wont have any issues.
Its family orientated, so if you have an issue with kids or noises from kids---not the place for you.
Management is busy but great. Never had an issue with repairs-- I have actually had the manager come to my home after midnight when my heater shut down in the middle of winter, just to bring me some space heaters.
No issues with crime. Mostly friendly people. A cpl nosey units that try to police the place-- just mind your business and you wont have an issue.
Downfalls? No washer/dryer, No Dishwasher. I purchased my own though and its been great.

I moved in here just under a year ago, best choice I ever made. Manager is AMAZING and always gets things done when needed. He is very over worked but does his best to make sure everyone is happy. I love the gated community aspect of this housing. I'm one of the lucky ones who has a larger yard. I love the playground for the children. Only downside, nosey neighbours who think they Run this place. But other than that, 10/10!

You can't get any better for the price. It's safe, well-managed, allows dogs, cheap to heat, has great communal greenspace for kids, and you have your own fully enclosed yard. Not for the pretentious though, this is no Promontory or White Rock.

We have lived here since Summer 2020 (~eight months). At the time comparable townhomes(3bed/2 bath) with no yard and in worse neighborhoods were going for $500 MORE a month. My only complaint with Woodbine is that it is shared laundry - worth the $500 in savings I might add. It's not too difficult to get a machine though, I have had it worse in other rentals. If you're lucky you might get one of the few units with their own machine. $2.25 a load btw.

Repairs happen within a day or two, pending urgency, which is great especially because it appears the manager is quite overworked as it is. I really hope the owners retain him, he is the best building manager I have had. This place could go downhill if they get someone lazy.

As for the neighbours we have had no issues, for those that have I have heard that the manager will intervene as appropriate. Just don't be the noisy neighbour or the one who smokes around the kids and you'll be fine. All the people I've met are SUPER friendly.

P.S. If you don't like kids DON'T move in here. There are lots of them and they are always playing outside.
