Chilliwack Sunflower Festival

Best sunflower farm in BC (that I’ve visited). Perfect for photos because they have lots of props like swings, the red truck and the bicycle. Came here to take some photos in a dress and they turned out beautiful. Nice staff. Very happy with my experience, will definitely be coming back! 🙂

Excellent spot for all the perfect instagram shots and photographers. They had nice props for visitors to enjoy throughout. Would be good if they had a station/shop for cold treats!

They had clear signs to indicate one-way directions for visitors. Had sanitizing stations located throughout the field but many of them were empty. At the exit there were hand washing stations and portable toilets.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! I’m so glad we went here this summer! The flowers there are just stunning. The set up is awesome. Lots of space, perfect for physical distancing! I think we are starting a new annual tradition!

I enjoyed the experience. The flowers were lovely. There were quite a few photo ops on site so perfect for your blog material. There are different sizes and colours of sunflowers and a bunch of other flowers on the field. It is very beautiful against the backdrop of the mountainous terrain. Spending a sunny day at the event is a perfect summer thing to indulge in.

It was a little hard finding the event’s parking lot. Its situated at a weird turn right when you come off of the highway. I wish they had washrooms with proper plumbing, given how they also hold the tulip festival in spring at the same site. There were portable washrooms but those are not really optimal. They’re concentrated at the start of the maze and the odours are very abysmal.

Overall a very positive experience. The festival is very well set up for physical distancing with wide paths, good directional signage and hand sanitizer available at all the "photo stations". Buying tickets for a specific time slot means it never gets overwhelmingly busy, though there are a few bottle neck points on the paths.

Signage from off the highway to the festival could be slightly improved, it is quite small and not noticeable until you are almost past the street to turn down. Ticket prices also seem a bit high for how long it takes to walk through and the variety of flowers - as a couple it was fine, but could be quite pricey as a family with kids.

I'd definitely consider attending again in future years.
