Great place for quick eat-in or take out lunch on a busy Saturday! Love the kibbling and croquets❤

The food was really good and fresh. Also a very nice kind family running this restaurant! A few issues. I asked for ketchup and asked if the ketchup was in the bag. Girl said sure is! No ketchup or napkins. A bit awkward for a picnic. If the fish was in a bag separate from the fries the fries wouldn't be soggy and the fish would be crispy as well. I will definitely go again and hopefully we won't have as many issues.
Thx though for the kind friendly service!

Delicious Dutch food including kibbeling, lekkerbekkies, kroketten, frikandelen, and fries with your choice of ketchup, mayonnaise, frietsaus, pindasaus, and more! Small family-owned and operated business in the heart of the small town of Rosedale, located in a container in front of Tech Alliance Saturday afternoons. Fish is caught locally off the coast of BC, and breading is made from organic spelt flour. Can be made gluten free and if you have any other allergies or dietary restrictions let them know and they will do their best to help! My personal favourite meal (along with a lot of other people, apparently - it's their top seller) is the kibbeling combo, but a kroket or frikandel is delicious as well! Kids' combos also include a toy. Picnic tables out front are perfect for enjoying lunch on a sunny day. Wait time is virtually non-existent, I've never seen anyone wait in line more than about 30 seconds. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the Frying Dutchman himself is a recent Dutch immigrant of 1.5 years bringing a taste of his native country home to Canada! Friendliest man you ever met and knows all his regular customers by name along with their orders! Great little location that also allows for events such as bake sales, car washes, markets, etc. as fundraisers for community causes or just for fun :) They also often have contests and draws for free meals etc. - found on their Facebook or Instagram pages. Perfect place to stop for Saturday lunch - while supporting local resources and family business. Eet smakelijk!!
