Good day,

I have known Ed now for over 8 years and not only is he a wonderful guitar tech, Ed is just simply, a wonderful person.

Ed has worked on a number of guitars for me...and continues to do so.

Ed not only cares about the quality of the time and effort that he puts into his work, he also is very much concerned about how we, as guitarists, feel about the work he has thus performed on our behalf. A real rarity these days!

Ovid, a Roman poet once said, "Make the workmanship surpass the materials..." ...Ed most certainly has fulfilled this criterion.

I bought a new Martin D28 from a well known music store in Chilliwack and right out of the box the action was terribly high. Having brought a different guitar to the place of purchase for set up there was no comparison to what Ed accomplished on my D28. The coast to coast music store should be embarrassed by their service.
Ed was very interested in my needs, he asked questions to determine if I was a light/heavy strummer, do I use different thicknesses of picks and so on. Less than two days pass and my D28 is magical. I am thrilled with the action now, no matter how hard I strum there are no buzzes, no collateral buzz, just beautiful tone. What a gem Fretter Guitars is, highly recommend this luthier. Thank you so much Ed, any guitar needs I'm coming to see you.
