Camp Hope

We come here every year because it is a great place to camp!

The area is huge and secluded but very accessible from Highway 1. We have lots of fun with the church every summer!

If you want to avoid the mosquitoes, camp around February.

My family and I broke down just outside of hope last night. We didn't have any money or bcaa. In the morning we woke up. The mountains were beautiful. The air smelled like pure love. It felt like the kind of day that miracles could happen. We remembered that camp hope had helped folks out during the floods. We called camp hope and asked if they had anyone who could help us sort out our vehicle. The very kind woman ( her name was Stephanie) said that they had a full house that day and only two staff on but would try to see what she could do. A gentleman ( their maintenance man Antsin) arrived with a smile asking how he could help. . He spent 3 hours with us and our vehicle. Researching. Trying things. Really hanging in there until voila!!! It was fixed and ready to go.

My experience with this place is nothing but gratitude. When my family was stuck in the landslides they were the most and kind people I have every met. Amazing place but most of all amazing individuals here. Much love

Stuck in-between a couple mudslides and forced to sleep in car overnight, the wonderful people of the Lytton First Nation and local community took us all into Camp Hope for shelter from the storm. Coffee, food, a roaring fire and a spirit of helpfulness on limitless offer.
