This is a big little museum. Very well maintained with a lot of information and artifacts that help you understand what happened during Japanese internment camp era.
Kudos to Ryan for his efforts to preserve a piece of Canadian history that many would just as soon forget. His re-creation of one of the internment shacks is a stark reminder of the conditions that they endured
This is a very informative museum about the history of Japanese Canadians during the second world war.
This museum is a hidden treasure. The exhibit is both immersive and educational. The attention to detail is stunning and I’m sure even the most educated folks will learn more about the complicated history of Japanese Canadians. Worth the visit!
This little museum is a definite must see.
It is located up the the Sunshine valley. It is keeping the history alive, from when the the Sunshine Valley was a Japanese Internment camp. With out the people who are looking after and running this museum, this history would have been lost.
