So great spot...we were fortunate to have a great spot on the lake. Okay first night bought wood..told 34 for 3 bundles...come to find out it is 32...also a big surprise because did not hear that they had raised prices for wood. Also..we had a creepy drone checking out spots...weird... the water issue needs to be fixed...the sani needs to have fresh water...the pumps need to have clean water. The road up to site is bad...take time...sites are small and awkward in the park so if you have a bigger rig then you need to be great at parking... and on the positive the park rangers were great...also were we there during the smoke..which sucked...but had been there before and it is still beautiful..
Love Harrison..my mom went....
Bring your own firewood..$12 for the bundle that 7-11 sells for $7. Plus you have to flag doen a truck that rarely comes by because they serve 2 other campgrounds. A lot of trailers could not fit into their sites. Nice lake though.
Not busy. But very restricted for dog a.rea
Road is great until the park. Green point day use area is nice with bathroom and change rooms. Lots of picnic tables. The 3 campgrounds are nice and quiet and tucked into the forest. Nick's lake is beautiful and grand enough to boat and kayak on. Reservations are important for camping.
