Quite muddy right now with all the rain, but a great little dog park.👍🙂
Some people's dogs shouldn't be allowed in this park, there too aggressive with people and especially with other dogs. We only go there when there's no one else present
A great place to let your dog off leash before our drive to Alberta or Kelowna
Basic park with water and a few benches lots of open space to run. A few holes from digging dogs and one set of gates are high off the ground a small dog could eacape from.
This is a great community addition. It was too bad the District made the users raise their own funds to build the fence. There was to be a recognition plaque/memorial plaque installed to recognize donors. That hadn't materialized in the years the park has been open. One lady kind of spearheaded the effort to have the park, and she should certainly be recognized.
The experience gained over the past few years shows that there is not too much maintenance done by the District. But a great group of volunteers seem to get things done. Kudos to them.
There is a great group of users who look after their dogs and see that everybody plays nice. It's up to individuals to recognize whether their dogs are too "over the top" for the group at the time, or too timid for those already there. I have admired those who remove their dogs in favour of the majority. Whether that be the very active, or the more sedate. It seems to work very well
"Waste" pickup seems to be well taken care of. In the time the park has been open, I rarely see any deposits that haven't been dealt with. Again, the great group that uses the park is not adverse to picking up the odd piece that escapes an owners scrutiny.
A very social place. For dogs, and for owners.
