(October 21, 2021, 1:16 am)Beautiful and so peaceful. Especially in October great for pictures. A lot of chances see deer,bears few skunks. Holly cross mountain is great! Good hike to the cabin but it's worth it. I get to go all the time I live close to the Skagit valley.

(September 9, 2020, 10:48 pm)My husband and I lucked out and snagged a riverside tent site in the middle of July. This would have been a perfect spot for anyone with a canoe or kayak -- unfortunately, we weren't able to bring ours. Still, we had a great time in a hammock overlooking the water. There were also plenty of trails nearby, the outhouses were clean, and a ranger came by twice a day to check up on things and to sell firewood if needed.
