We booked Fraser River Lodge almost two years before our September 2020 wedding. During that time Wendy & her team were there to promptly answer any questions we had & helped us build the wedding of our dreams. We had to make a lot of changes due to COVID & they helped make our transition to a smaller wedding as smooth as possible. All of my questions were answered promptly and completely. The lodge itself was incredible. It’s immaculately taken care of & the perfect set up for us to go from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. It was the perfect relaxing environment for our guests to hang out, drink, snack, and play yard games while we took advantage of all the beautiful spots for photos. All of our guests had an amazing time & raved about the staff & venue. Especially the food!! We stayed for 2 nights & all of our meals were 10/10. Thank you to every one at FRL. You made our wedding better than we ever could have imagined!
We stayed for a wedding and were blown away by the kindness of the staff and the beauty of the setting. We were so greatful that they were able to accomodate a celiac diet with delicious food and knowledge cross-contamination.
We went there for our company retreat. Friendly staff, good food and what a view!Highly recommended.
For a wedding venue, a fishing trip getaway, a romantic overnight this place is highly recommended. Their event coordinator, Wendy is all kinds of professional and fantastic. All of the staff were polite and invisible making the entire event run smooth. If your lucky enough to get Rachel as your goto person you are in very good hands. I cannot give enough praise about this venue.
My husband and I stayed here for an evening in Sept the night after our wedding in a honeymoon suite. We went ahead and did axe throwing and got the breakfast ordered with it. (Ben??) The nice Australian man who took us out and taught us to throw axes was friendly and made us feel comfortable. Hes awesome, all the staff was wonderful and the views here are gorgeous. We should have also bought the dinner option instead of driving into Harrison to eat. We loved the stove in our room, but the main thing we were excited for was the large jet tub!! We came back from Harrison to go up to the bar and get more drinks, we came a bit late and right before they were going to close but they accommodated us and were kind. We ordered two drinks but took the second to our rooms. I love all the wood and big windows. I especially loved the bison in the fields you could see upstairs from your room.
Id go back for family vacations or anniversaries, its quiet and peaceful. It was just us at breakfast and we got to enjoy eating slowly and staring up at the mountains. well kept and clean, felt high quality, i bought a stuffed bison from the shop in the office.
