It's disappointing when there's multiple times with the receptionist that I'm spoken to unkindly or as if there's some sort of issue with my question(s). It would be awesome if people could be kind. Give others some grace especially when the doctors office is one of the last places I want to be calling in the first place. I'm sick, my husband's sick, my kids are sick, my mom is sick. Kindness helps and the doctors working there do a wonderful job dealing with all the same people in these undesirable circumstances. Hoping everything is OK with her and if there's something going on personally I hope there's support and love to help you.
