Herman from Kerkhoff Excavating has completed 2 projects for me recently. I can't emphasize enough what a great experience it has been to deal with this company. Herman went above and beyond what was expected. He helped out with last minute, much needed supplies, contacted other contractors to come and help out on short notice and completed the work in record time and within budget. After 30 years in business as a consultant, contractor and planner, I can say, this company really cares. Highly recommended!

Intellegent consultation, a real eye for design, quick work(no wasting time) and evidently lots of experience on his machine. The finished product exceeded expectations every time. From septic system to a quickly installed beautiful rock wall. I got to work with Herman on a number of projects and I hope this continues. He went way above and beyond, start to finish, and he earned my trust. Will go with Kerkhoff Excavating for every earth work/septic need I have.

We had Herman do the excavation for our foundation, he installed perimeter drains, and our drainage rock pit. As well as site grading and a septic installation in an awkward, tight location. Herman and my partner Matt worked together on all the projects. Matt would say Herman is hard working, punctual, stayed on budget, that he adapted well to changing plans and very detailed oriented. Herman used new equipment that assisted in very accurate installation. He also has a good sense of visual esthetic during site grading. Thank you Herman!

Before my dad called Herman, him was speaking to a septic person in regards to installation of new field it was a bad experience. So my dad decided to google and ended up calling Herman Kerkhoff.

He gave my dad a quote quickly and made the whole process easy. On site he was focused skilled moving fast on and off his equipment. When necessary he made discussion quickly, he consult with him and was willing to helped him in anyway needed. He did the septic field and several other difficult jobs my dad had on the property. I got more work done at a lower price without complication because of his professional. My dad would not hesitate to call Herman first when he needs skilled, honest, and reliable service done.

From our initial meeting with Herman we were impressed with his willingness to please and go the extra mile! Our meeting came as a result of getting a quote for a septic system before purchasing our property. During that consultation he went above and beyond and ended up shooting the grade for us and advising us on other building matters unrelated to his septic business which we admired! It feels as though you have someone in your corner looking out for your interests which is priceless! We ended up having him clear the lot and he came within budget as promised in a professional and timely manner as expected based on how he presented himself and Kerkhoff Excavating! When dealing with Herman, you really get a sense that he cares about you personally and your project. He truly treats the job as if it is his own piece of property! A business relationship like ours I feel is rare but I think it is the same for him and his other clients.
