(July 18, 2023, 4:03 pm)Beautiful but not very well protected. Only BC Park with a working cattle ranch in it really shows the provinces lack of priorities when it comes to conservation. This is also one of the largest bunchgrass prairie ecosystems in BC so basically the worst place ever for a ranch.

(January 23, 2017, 4:07 am)Churn Creek Protected Area is an awesome place to go. It's very wild, very quiet, and you get to see landscapes and ecosystems that are unusual for Canada. From Vancouver, it takes a while to get to, but it feels like an adventure. I want to return really badly to hike for a couple of days.
