(March 6, 2019, 7:17 am)Rafa teaches authentic world level BJJ. I have been going to GF Team in Burnaby for about 1 month now. I used to train at another gym for about a year and a half. I find Rafa's instructions to be clear and simple to understand. He makes the techniques easy to learn and easy to remember. If you are looking for a gym to train BJJ, I highly recommend GF Team. Rafa is genuinely nice. He wants his students to learn and to get better every day. He pays attention to every student in class. The people at this gym are very friendly. He is planning to expand his gym because his class is getting bigger.

(November 7, 2018, 4:13 am)I have been attending this gym for the Women's only bootcamp for almost a year and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. I have seen real results with my conditioning and body all thanks to the coach, Eliza. Deeply grateful to have found this well run, clean and friendly space to work on my mind and body. Also, the owner Rafael is kind and personable and makes great efforts to make the space feel inclusive. Thank you to all.
