(March 10, 2019, 4:09 am)After seeing some good reviews I decided to try their food. The restaurant was small and had a homey feel. The couple who owned and operated the restaurant were Japanese. I sat on the bar and order uni, salmon, and scallop nigiri. Everything tasted fresh and I found the price to be very decent as the chef was very generous with the portions (not rice but the fish/uni/scallop). The service was good and I think I'll be back this month or next.
(March 8, 2019, 4:28 am)Husband and Wife runned sushi bar. The husband mainly makes the sushi, while the wife hosts and serves guests. The sushi was super fresh and at reasonable prices. The food and service was both really good; we enjoyed our visit.
(March 5, 2019, 6:37 am)If you lived or traveled in Japan and you are going crazy trying to find some real Sushi, this is the place. I've been coming here fro years and the 2 person Mom and Pop managed eatery is amazing. I lived in japan for 3 years and this is about as good as you can get in Burnaby.
(February 24, 2019, 6:53 pm)Sushi Bar appears very small from the street but does have several tables inside. Friendly and fast service from the family owner operators. Fish is fresh, taste is excellent, presentation is very good. Menu has lots of choice and pricing is reasonable. Recommend others to try. Will be back
(December 13, 2018, 5:58 am)Nestled in a nook, this sushi restaurant is own and run by a couple. Sushi is fresh and the portions are decent. Feels like authentic Japanese cuisine. Service is great and the staff is friendly. It is a small place so sometimes take-away is a good idea. Will definitely be going back soon.
