Great place, nice welcoming owner, delicious food for a low cost

It doesn't look like much when you first walk in, a bunch of tables and chairs with no real menu to be found. Put all that aside because you are in for a treat. You quickly realize that this place is something special when every customer that walks through the door knows the owner by name.

The food tasted spectacular, portion sizes even more so. Good ingredients, fresh ingredients, made with hands that truly care. I had the pasta special and turkey sandwich and it tasted better than most high end restaurant chains for the fraction of the price.

Do not skip this hidden gem, as this restaurant truly is a real hidden gem. You have made a first time customer into a long term customer.

I love this cafe restaurant. The best homemade soup and burgers without a doubt. Friendly environment and clean place. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

Great food low, great prices and generous servings. The soup is second to none and the owner as well as the customers are all friendly and out going.

I came here while visiting the Burnaby Hospital and it is an excellent alternative to the hospital cafeteria or Tim Horton. The cafe was cozy and the owner was very friendly to every customer. In addition to coffee and pastries, it has an excellent lunch menu with vegetarian options. The menu items were all under $10 with generous portions. If you are ever in need of comfort food, definitely give this place a try!
