(June 12, 2017, 10:17 pm)Channay is a really good trainer. She excels at teaching children- taking them from being novice riders to being a success at "A" rated horse shows.
Channay is very conscious of safety and making sure that kids and adults learns how to take care of the horse as well as ride, and ride well. Kids love the spring, summer and Christmas camps.
If you're looking for a safe and fun place to learn to ride that's accessible to Metro Vancouver, Country Lane is the place for you. Channay, the riding trainer is excellent, the school horses are really nice and safe, and the facility has nice footing and is in really great condition. The horse care is really good.
The barn has a really fun atmosphere for children and adults- barn parties, schooling shows with lovely prizes and fun riding camps. Country Lane is the perfect place to start riding and progress to horse shows. A family-oriented barn, they truly have horses for all abilities. I highly recommend Country Lane!
(March 15, 2017, 11:01 pm)I have known Channay Lloyd for over 20 years - I experienced and saw her rise up through the ranks as a top Junior rider in BC, Washington State and California. I trust Channay completely, she operates a safe, fun and wonderful learning environment for my children and myself. I trust Channay's opinions on suitable horses and goals for the showing and the right learning. My fourth (and hopefully final) rider is now learning under Channay's guidance.
