(July 31, 2018, 7:54 pm)Overall a good stay, but there are a few things to note. If you're looking for a hostel experience where you meet other travellers and such this is not the place for you! Also there is no free WiFi in the rooms, you have to rent a router from them for that. Also be warned that there are lots of school trips that stay here, so don't expect having a quiet spot to read as the hub building is regularly filled with hundreds of screaming children and teenagers. There are some nice cafés and plenty to do around the university campus, but it feels more like a convention centre than a hostel (which I believe it also is). However it was very clean, the staff were friendly and very helpful, and it was overall a very positive stay.
(July 4, 2018, 9:36 pm)It's a decent place for a hostel. Very clean for the most part. Rooms are very basic. Mattress way too hard! Otherwise, it's a decent value especially if you're coming UBC and want to experience what the student residency feels like.
(May 30, 2018, 2:31 am)Great affordable accommodations. Spartan residence rooms but clean and comfortable. And you can't beat $10 a day parking.
