Chartwell Langley Gardens Retirement Residence

My father-in-law lived at Langley Gardens for a few years and now my aunt. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They truly care and show it by going out of their way to make my aunt feel comfortable. She was very unsure about the move initially but it didn't take long before she felt at home. The activities have allowed her to make friends and share many laughs. It warms my heart to see. 5 stars!

The first thing that comes to mind when I think about why I love living at Langley Gardens is the feeling of 'home'. I could live with my family but I don't want to because I have done it once before, went with a plan to stay 1 month and only lasted 3 days! Langley Gardens allows me to be as busy as I would like to be or as quiet and private when I want to be. Some of the things I love about living here are 1) Social environment and activities 2) location is perfect being close to community businesses or the walking trails near by. 3) The food is wonderful and the fact that I don't have to cook anymore! Chef Matt is very good to talk to and anything you like to change he is open to discussing with me. Overall I feel happy, comfortable and contented living here. Wouldn't want to live anywhere else!

I have lived at Chartwell Langley Gardens Retirement Residence for four and a half years and I have always been glad I chose it as my home. Management and staff have always been curious and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff cleans room once a week. Everyone is very polite and friendly. If rating on 1 to 5 I would give Langley Gardens a 5!

When I first came in to look at Langley Gardens, I went down through the lounge, walked to the dining room and stood and looked. I said to myself: 'This is my new home'. I got a beautiful 2-bedroom suite, with a washer/dryer which I love. The managers, the ladies at the desk and those who organize activities, all the servers, cooks, everybody is so wonderful! I am very happy here. The gardens are wonderful to walk around or sit and read. There's also pitch & putt, live entertainment, shuffle board, games, happy hour, or enjoyment with the residents. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

The best decision made by me approximately 2 years ago was to move to Chartwell Langley Gardens Retirement Residence. Not only am I healthier but my attitude and spirits have greatly improved. We are fortunate with the Chef we have and meal times are special and excellent. Our Lifestyle and Program Manager provides activities and events for our many residents. Langley Gardens is well managed and is a very happy place to live. Lots of laughs and fun for those who want to be involved!
