This is a quirky office. It's in a portable tucked in the rear of the hospital and can only be accessed by driving past the "Shipping & Receiving AUTHORIZED ACCESS ONLY" sign. Do not attempt to go through the hospital. There are two free parking spaces so don't pay for parking in the hospital's lot unless you enjoy walking a fair distance. They only accept physical cash and cheques - no debit or credit - and their receipts are hand-written from a generic Staples receipt book. They have yet to be visited by modern technology (OK, to be fair they have a computer for accessing the registration database).
However, these concerns are not the fault of the staff - they share your frustrations. They are very courteous and easy to deal with. I have never had a bad experience here except for that one time I forgot that they didn't have a debit machine so I had to come back another time.
Also, they take lunch seriously so it's closed between 12:00 and 1:00.
Cash/cheque only! I'm sure I'll forget this again next year.
