Smilestones Junior Kindergarten Preschool and Daycare - Langley

Miss Ritu and Miss Monique are my daughters teachers.

I’m sure all the teachers are as amazing as these two.

My daughter has learned so much in less than a year! These two are very patient and caring. They go out of their way to make sure everyone in the classroom is in a positive learning environment.

They have given my daughter such an amazing learning foundation by the way they teach at smilestones.

I can’t say enough about how much I love the teachers and school ❤️

Words can not express my gratitude for the kind, patient and loving teachers.
My son has been attending day care on a full time basis for over two years now. The facility is clean and staffed by knowledgeable and caring teachers. During the Winter months, when all sorts of colds and flu emerges, the staff are not only hard at work with the kids but with sanitizing the toys.
On several occasions, I have sat in the room and observed the interaction between students and teachers. The kids respond and listen to their teachers very well. The teachers are constantly sharing ideas, creative ideas about how they will make the next lesson and class fun. Today was our Tristan's last day in JK2 as he has transitioned to JK3. It was such a bittersweet moment, Ms. Sara, Ms. Arlene and Ms. Swaran are incredible teachers. That and my son LOVES them. An example of how much my son adores them, we went away on holidays and he insisted on getting his teachers because "they are nice". My 3 year old said those very words about his teachers.

I have full confidence JK3 won't be any different with their teachers.

I feel compelled to mention Ms. Ella, who was Tristan's very first teacher. During Tristan's first days, weeks, months--- it was endless crying yet Ms. Ella kept a smile. She eventually became good friends with Tristan. She has such a big heart and all kids love running after Ms. Ella to play.

Last but not least, Ashifa and Shaila---their team is a reflection of their leadership. Both Shaila and Ashifa are also very kind and they always make time for small chats. Regardless of the topic.

Overall, I strongly recommend this daycare. Staff here are like an extension of our family. We're sending our second send here next year. I have full confidence both are kids will be prepared for kindergarten armed with knowledge and social skills. Thank you everyone at Smilestones!

Smilestone has been a great experience for my son. He was able to interact with his teachers and fellow students in a positive and safe setting. I am beyond thrill with their approach to our children's learning and caring through out the day. Great job!

This school has been the best choice for our daughter. She loves the hands-on experiences offered at Smilestones and everyday she comes home excited to tell us what she has learned. As an Educator I am very pleased with their Reggio-Inspired Program since I am a strong believer in this philosophy of Early Childhood Education. I really enjoy seeing all the documentation being done at school and seeing pictures of my daughter actively learning. The teachers are enthusiastic and hard working and you can see that in their work everyday! All I can say is keep up the great work Smilestones! We are thrilled that our daughter is getting this great pre-school experience.

Smilestones Langley opened at the perfect time to meet our families needs for our pending kindergartner. The centre is well lit, open and clean. Staff are exceptionally friendly and take time to get to know their individual students and their families. The teachers are all diligent in working with children and parents to address behavioural concerns and create a respectful, consistent approach to channelling positive behaviours. Healthy snacks and lunches are provided on site which is a great encouragment for children to try new foods they may not be exposed to in their home environments. Uniforms are a nice touch. I recommend this centre to anyone looking for quality childcare in the Walnut Grove/Langley area. Simply Wonderful!
