I was looking for a classic car restoration specialist to "fix" the rusted-out floor of my Canadian-built '72 Chevrolet Chevelle. After doing some research on the web and also talking to a Nova owner at a show-'n-shine I settled on Plum Crazy Restaurations in PoCo. (at the time I didn't really have a good idea how bad a shape the underside of my Chevelle was in ...)

I talked to Amman at Plum Crazy and set up an appointment for detailed inspection where they looked the car over carefully and documented it's issues - what I really liked about that was that they grouped the issues in categories of importance to fix. And, boy, there were many (most of which I'd known but been procrastinating on for years...)

After Amman sent me the report with the findings we sat down to discuss budget and options - obviously, with a project like that the sky is the limit in terms of cost, but PCR listened carefully to what I had in mind and then presented several options of what and how we could achieve the primary goals and, possibly, some nice-to-have's. I can't emphasize enough that PCR did not automatically push for the "kitchen sink" option and the highest project cost - they objectively took in what budget I had in mind and what my biggest concerns with the car were and simply explained "here's what we would do".

Once we settled on the scope of the project (and Amman was careful and diligent to make sure we understood that there could always be unforeseen issues during a restoration project like that which simply cannot be left unaddressed) PCR ordered the necessary parts and materials, took the front end off, the body off the frame and began the process of fixing things up. They documented every step of the process with countless detailed pictures which was especially useful (and educating for me) when aforementioned unforeseen issues came up: the inner rockers were rusted out, capture nuts had broken off, etc... - typical stuff that required cutting-out and welding in newly custom-fabricated pieces...

Amman & team kept me informed and up-to-speed on the progress literally daily. Towards the very end of the project we decided to replace the rear brake system and put on a new set of tires - the car drives fantastic, much tighter now thanks to the added stability of a new, solid floor pan.

Many thanks to Amman, Joe and the rest of the team @ Plum Crazy Restorations - I've had the Chevelle for quite some time and I will continue to enjoy much longer. I wouldn't hesitate a moment to go back to PCR for any other car restoration project and can highly recommend them.

I had Plum Crazy carry out some mechanical upgrades to my 72 Triumph Stag. Rather than a full car restoration, my aim was simply to address many of the mechanical issues that existed with the car. Plum Crazy provided a full documented analysis of key issues with the car along with a detailed visual and written summary of what needs to be done. Be aware they do charge for this, but I found it valuable in helping to decide how much work I wanted to proceed with and how much I wanted to invest. The work they carried out was a clean, quality job and my Stag now handles and rides well. I was particularly impressed by the ongoing progress reports and online photo documentation that showed the work that was done - a visual record worth keeping as part of the car's history. While resources didn't allow me to have any cosmetic work done, I was impressed by the body and paint work on their other projects. I cannot fault the work Plum Crazy carried out for me and would certainly recommend giving them a call if considering restoration work on a classic car.

Finding plum crazy was one of the absolute best gems i could ever come across, when wanting to restore my 64 GTO i surely shopped around at many well rated shops in the lower mainland as well as restoration companies. Plum crazy stood out above all in their initial expertise in the product, knowledge, service, and price. After evaluating every company i decided to choose plum crazy to give me my dream car. Well what can i say! the entire process was precise, on budget, and they always kept me in the loop. The best part about all this was they did an absolutely fantastic job on the vehicle, not even in my wildest dreams was i expecting the car to be so beautiful and run this well. They restored the body to absolute 100% perfection, put an amazing paint job on it that wins first place at any show hands down, and the vehicle just runs so well. To anyone considering restoration i highly recommend plum crazy restorations as the guys who will do it once and do it right!

Plum Crazy folks took great care of me and my baby. They sourced a front splitter for my Hellcat Charger and the price they quoted for the part was as good as any I could find online. Installation was top notch, on time, and below estimate. I asked them to install some puddle lights that I supplied and that work was also done right. Then they touched up some paint chips and cleaned her all up nice inside and out! A small job for these guys but they treated me and the work like it was just as important to them as the complete restorations they do. I'll be back!
