(March 2, 2019, 5:14 pm)My dog, Sasha had crucial tendon surgery on he left, hind leg. She is recovering well. I'm impressed with the treatment given by the compassionate and caring staff. R.A.P.S. is now my go-to animal hospital since my previous Veterinarian retired.
(February 18, 2019, 11:24 pm)The staff / vets are so friendly and kind! I was very nervous for my dog to have surgery and they went above and beyond to make sure I knew he was in good hands! The dog is happy and recovering at home: ) Highly recommend this animal hospital!
(February 6, 2019, 5:29 am)I am quite emotional writing this as the RAPS Team gave me my life back and to be more precise, my dog Luciano, his life back. Just before Christmas I took my dog to an emergency hospital and was told that he probably had cancer. I was told unless I had $8,000 for surgery and chemo, I should euthanize him. I was not prepared to do that and I was referred to RAPS by my previous vet in North Vancouver. Ultimately, he had his spleen removed and my 10 year old dog thinks he is now 2 years old with tons of energy. I know that it is still a waiting game, but I still have my best friend of 10 years. Everything is upfront - you know what it will cost with a high and a low quote. They are professional, caring and friendly with reasonable rates. My thanks to Dr. Kestelman, Dr. Goldberg and everyone who assisted. Highly recommended! I am deeply grateful.
(January 28, 2019, 11:53 pm)RAPS Animal Hospital is a great place to bring your pets! We made an appointment to bring our very nervous, newly adopted dog here for her first check-up 2 weeks after adopting her. From the very first phone call the staff was kind, professional & helpful. The vet we saw, Dr. Douglas, had no problem with getting down on the floor to examine our dog when it became clear she was just too scared to be up on the table, what a simple thing to do but it made us all feel much more comfortable! They even sent us a text after our visit to check in and see how we were doing. Such a great experience with great people, we'll absolutely be returning :)
(January 19, 2019, 8:09 pm)Great new state of the art hospital. Wonderful to have a 'not for profit and community supported' facility that offers low cost services. The staff were friendly and so gentle with our 7 yr old chocolate lab who was in to get his routine vaccines and biopsies. I would highly recommend RAPS hospital to keep your fur babies happy and healthy.
