  Better off eating out than eating in. If you have a group of more than four. There isn't much space in the restaurant for a large family but the food is very good

  Despite being a Japanese run Japanese restaurant, food quality is not as good as other places. In fact it's very average Japanese food. Their clientele seems to be mostly take out orders, as there is always a server walking around wearing a phone headset. A large menu of regular items. But really, expect Japanese takeout quality.

  I live in Richmond so I have a lot of selection but this is my favourite sushi place to date! They have a great menu, the staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean. For sure worth a visit! You won't be disappointed. :)

  Best Tempura don in town!! It's not like any other tempura in Vancouver. Curry is great as well. I wish I live right next to this place, I would go there every day!

  I've visited Takeya several times a year. Their curry was amazing. The Takeya Nigiri Sushi set was fantastic for the price charged. There are some special menus that are only available for dine-in customers. One menu that I always order: artificial crab salad. So good!
