Heather Pavillion

Have long wanted to write a review of the Heather Pavillion at VGH (Vancouver General Hospital) but have not been able to find the words as to the wonderful historical significance of this most interesting Vancouver landmark.

For those of us who love the study of British Columbia's History, a visit to the Historical Heather Pavillion is nothing short of a very rewarding experience. Especially when one studies first and early photographs of the building, its surroundings, activities, and transformations.

VGH has become and is known as a World Class Medical Facility. VGH has attracted and continues to attract discerning care providers and educators from with in our community, as well as greater British Columbia, as well as other parts of Canada, as well as from around the Globe. The roots of which are found in the 1903 Community Convenient expressed threw the Historical Presence of the Heather Pavillion.
