(April 6, 2017, 1:39 am)Honestly not sure why this place doesn't have any reviews online. I'd recommend this place to anyone who needs new glasses.
I live at Sophia and 18th and started walking south down Main looking to get some new specs. Popped into a couple places that looked really hip and new on the way up and they were cool but a little cold and mildly intimidating.
Really glad I didn't settle at those places because I kept walking up to this hidden gem of a place and found a dope pair of glasses for $138 total with the lenses.
My prescription is on the higher side and I have astigmatism so I'm used to paying a LOT for lenses. I must've been getting systematically ripped off at other places because I was actually quite shocked at how much cheaper it was at this place.
The guy who (presumably) owns the place is really amiable and was so patient while I was perusing and trying on a million different frames. I wasn't pressured at all, which was appreciated because in the past at other places I've been rushed into buying frames that I didn't love.
Picked up the glasses today, three days later. I LOVE them.
