Scotiabank

I went there for my transactions. The lady whose name is “Qiao”, I remembered, was really nice. She was paitient and explained every steps enthusiastically. Thank you and appreciate!

I’ve never met such nice people in a bank before. This lady stayed past closing hours to resolve a block Visa had put on my card when I was trying to book an Airbnb.

I had spent almost an hour on the phone with Scotiabank (half an hour on hold), only for them to tell me that they can’t do anything and that I need to go to a branch...typical bank move.

This lady started helping me at 4:30, and by the time she was transferred on the phone to Visa it was 5pm, when she nicely told me that there’s usually at least a half hour wait on hold at this point, and that I’m welcome to stay. She resolved the matter, but it was the way she did it, with a lovely demeanour and a smile on her face, staying past closing time like it was nothing.
