This school is absolutely amazing. I began my journey learning Mandarin this past fall and my teacher Sherry has been phenomenal. Starting a new language, especially one so unfamiliar to me, could have been very daunting. However, I have received all the resources I need and the plan for my learning is very structured so that each lesson I can see my progress and where I need to go. I would highly recommend this school to anyone interested in starting to learn Chinese. I have progressed a lot since the beginning and I have had a lot of fun doing it!!

I've been a student there for over a year now. The teachers are highly qualified and will work at what ever pace you prefer. Young to old I would recommend them to anyone wanting to learn.

I have been studying at Vancouver Mandarin School for 3 months and I find it extremely effective. At the beginning I started off with learning pinyin, and now I am able to read and write the most common characters.

I am taking classes with Sherry. She is a great teacher and she will make sure you completely understand what you learn.

I've personally studied in Vancouver Mandarin School for 2 years and have improved drastically. The teachers are great and the teaching materials are very practical and can be used daily in conversation. My family are amazed with my improvement and the unexpected pleasant surprise of being able to read and write more is an added bonus. I could read a lot of signs and menus now.

Vancouver Mandarin School has been an excellent choice for me. I am an adult learner who recently moved to the Vancouver area. I have wanted to learn and be able to use a second language for years. This is the perfect opportunity given the amount of mandarin speaking people in the area.

Sherry, my instructor, is well versed in English and very knowledgeable in effective learning strategies. She has been able to provide me with the best techniques to fit my learning style. After 5 weeks of lessons, two lessons per week, I am able to carry on basic conversation, communicate in a restaurant setting, and understand the sentence structure of the language.
