When my mother started getting dementia, I knew that she could no longer be left to take for herself. Through our case worker, we secured a spot for her - and it’s such a blessing.
The staff at honoria are all very friendly and caring. The facility is clean, and they make a good effort to help create a community with activities and birthday celebrations. The food is good, and more than what my mom would make for herself.
I’m not sure why this has received low reviews - this is a government funded facility, you’re not going to get a luxury experience here. Yes, of course, there could be more staff, but the staff that’s there care, and look out for the residents and facility, isn’t that what matters?
