Tried many kebub places but, haven’t found one more tasty than this, I really like their nan, goat biryani, chicken curry, I love this place, I am lucky for living close to them...
Not worth the money. I basically had to go and have dinner at another restaurant because the food wasn't enough. People were nice and the food was tasty.
The food here is excellent – fresh, great flavours, generous portions. I’ve been eating here for years now; it has always been a favourite of mine, but the current owners distinguish themselves for the care they with the spices, sauces, and flavour accents on the dishes. The sides are simple, but tasty and made with care. They’re even picky about the rice they serve, and it’s just long grain white rice. And I have to say, it *does* seem tastier...
It’s not easy to make a simple side salad of chunky onion, iceberg lettuce, and tomato into something you want more of, but the sprinkling of herbs and dressing on this side makes all the difference. I had the lamb curry yesterday and it was rich and tasty; the lamb tender and boneless.
The prices *have* increased since the recent expansion to the neighbouring space, but the quality of the food is still excellent.
I normally have either the beef or lamb kebabs or the beef or lamb curries. It’s a family-run business, still attempting to bootstrap itself, and work out the kinks, so I can understand a few of the crankier reviews here. However: the owners have always been cordial and good to us, and when we chat with them, they *clearly* care about the food.
There are lots of hole in the wall kebab/shawarma places in town, and if you only care about cheap you can eat anywhere. But if you want good food, made by people who care about how things taste, then try this place.
