Jim and Randy at Stan’s fit me in at the last minute, diagnosed and took care of my transmission problem immediately and did it all with courtesy, knowledge and a smile. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. My 2008 Mini Cooper S 6 speed automatic was experiencing harsh shifts, especially downshifts. My mechanic is an European car specialist and recommended Stan's Transmission. I came in to have my car looked at because the speedometer wasn't working and the car was not switching out of first gear. Jim looked over the car and first thought that it would require a full new transmission, but looked it over again and noticed a disconnected wire. That was it! Jim was very knowledgeable and insightful and I appreciated that they double-checked everything saving me from a potentially very expensive repair.
