Great views, service was great and food was really good. Had the bangers and mash, didn't disappoint!
The rating would be higher if the service had been better. The waitress was less than friendly. Felt as though we were interrupting her day...we found our own seat and my niece was immediately asked for ID. A greating of "hello, how are you today" would have been a little more of what I would have expected. This is a touristy area and would expect you need to welcome the tourists with a smile not a scowl. After we paid she was immediately seated at the bar enjoying her lunch. She couldn't have been happier to see us go. We were polite and low maintanence. We didn't complain about the food and we didn't send anything back even though the soup was cold. Take your chances is all I'm going to say about this place. You might get better service from another waitress or you might get lucky and she'll be in a better mood.
This is my favourite restaurant in Horseshoe Bay. The food is super delicious, especially the specials of the day. The desserts are decadent and the drinks are well prepared. You can sit on the patio and look at the ocean and if you come with your furry companion they can be tied up right beside the patio and get love and pets from the passerby's. A must try for sure.
This is definitely a locals haunt. It was a very casual pub with a limited happy hour. It only offered a few domestic drinks and no food. We ended up having the daily drink special instead. It had a simple patio which was a little grubby but offered a great view of the ferries/bay. I would have given another star but there was a very loud, undesirable patron talking loudly across patio at another table for the duration of our stay. The menu was standard pub fare.
