Coney Island Seafood

I visited here with my cousin and sister in law on a Friday night for takeout. I had the chicken strips and fries, my cousin had poutine and my sister in law had a chicken burger and fries. All of our meals were hot and delicious. The portion sizes were huge, and the food was inexpensive. I couldn’t finish mine! The service was great, very family style, and they were very welcoming. I would 100% go back here.

My family has been coming here before I was born. This is literally the best fish and chips I have had in my life. The portions are huge, the fish is fresh hand battered, light and crispy. The chips are insanely good and the tartar sauce is homemade. Small hole in the wall with exceptional fish and chips. Don't be fooled by the other spots around, this is the best place to enjoy fish & chips!

The portions are large. The halibut was quite thin but had a lot of area. I would prefer it be smaller and thicker. The batter is good but when the slice is that thin it becomes too much batter and not enough fish.

Still tastes good but could be better.

Excellent fish and chips and great service. Has the feel of an older diner inside, but everything is super clean and well-kept. It shows off the pride of a well-run family business! The fish is hot and fresh, tartar sauce and coleslaw (vinaigrette style) are both delicious. This style of fish and chips is more of the flat slab of fish, and works perfect in their fish sandwich. Give this place a try, and you'll be addicted like I am! Worth the drive.

We wanted to eat here on the weekend. Did not like the interior of restaurant too much, its clean but definitely needs upgrading to new furniture. So we ordered it to go, and food itself was amazing. Very nice tasting batter (No Beer added) and fries were done better than most places. Definitely recommend for takeout!
