Awsome after dinner stop.
I feel like you can be anyone you want in here.
My party and I had an amazing time playing at Tabletop. We did DnD there for about a year and had so many laughs and made great memories. The DM’ing here is fantastic and they offer tons of RPGs, as well as just regular board/card games.
If you’re looking for an adventure, Tabletop is the best place to go.
Great sweet and savory crepes and a huge variety of board games including D&D and other roleplaying games. The prices are decent and the portions are reasonable for the price but could be better. The staff are friendly and the tables are clean. Theres not a lot of room so playing in large groups at a popular time of day is difficult. You may also have to reserve times to play games.
It was fun playing games here. We had dinner as well. The food was okay good and I was happy to be able to have a gluten free crepe.
We were a bit surprised (A LOT) that we were going to be charged $5 per person as a cover charge to play games (even if we were just going to play our own games that we brought). With 5 of us, that's a lot of money extra on top of food and drinks. The owner (I think it was the owner) allowed us to play with no cover for this time only. I think he knew we would have left otherwise. We hardly go out because it's just too expensive with many kids and a tight budget.
I am grateful he allowed us to experience his restaurant last night, but with that cover charge I'm doubtful we'll be able to return (at least not with our family next time).
Wow! This place is fantastic! Comfortable atmosphere, really nice and friendly staff, and excellent food - all topped off by a great selection of board games to choose from, that you can play while you eat.
Even better, that it is in White Rock, so those of us in Surrey or Langley, don't have to go so far for a nice, nerdy hobbit hole to have dinner out.
Comparable to Stormcrow, without an emphasis on alcohol - although alcohol is still available.
I love that they also have frequent night for learning various role-playing systems (such as Dungeons and Dragons), and hope one day I can take part in a session or two. :)
Overall, great experience. Will totally come again!
