The Wooden Spoon Bistro

Stopped here for lunch. Everything is decorated with old art and artifacts, including in the bathroom 😆 we had a really good cup of coffee and some amazing sandwiches. Excellent and friendly service. I highly recommend.

The food was just but just needed that little extra to go into the great category and get that 5th star. The staff was good nice and friendly. My only gripe was little things, like I wish the curry soup was a little bit thickened or had potatoes instead of chick peas and the sandwich be a bit less messy to eat, but both items had great flavour.

In the end this is a place I would go back to for a quick, healthy, friendly lunch.

This hidden gem is located just off the highway. I found it by chance as I needed a break. The first thing I noticed is that there is a real buzz about the Wooden Spoon. Lots of energy. It is clean, super friendly, and they promote local in the preparation of their goods. Great coffee. I also grabbed a breakfast sandwich there. Delicious! The building also has a fascinating history that you can read about on the plaque outside. Highly recommended for a pitstop.

It was my birthday. We were super hungry. They made a huge mistake. They fixed it.

The food that came out was spectacular. Strong leadership and team.

Best place in Grandforks. Friendly staff and great service. Yummy bacon! Just had the best sandwich ever!
