Big White Ski Resort

The mountain bike trail builders at this hill are incredible. All the cool kids want flow and they have nailed it. Even the tech trails have it. Also the chair is fast and efficient allowing for many laps. The only bad thing is that there are so many jumps and berms that are perfect that you will ride them until you can no longer move

This place is just stunning in the summer! Beautiful hikes up the mountain and a chair lift for those with younger kids. The village is low key but does decent beer and chips. Very safe and friendly atmosphere.

It's not only a ski resort! Its also a great place to go to in the summer for bike rides and hiking, horseback riding and a lot of different festivals throughout the summer.
Great place to go together with family and friends. ???? takes a little to get familiar with directions here for first timers, kinda needs more signs.

We came for tubing, never being here before we didn’t know what to expect however we were really happy with what was there. We couldn’t believe how big it was, how could someone get board? We will definitely be coming again and staying for longer. There’s ice climbing, skating, horse drawn carriage rides, kids activities, fire pits and so much more to do. The people working there seem to all be having fun and when asked would even spin us down the hill. I don’t remember when I laughed so hard.

Skiing conditions are great - dry packed snow. Nicely developed trails (signage could be better) and great grooming. Many things to do including snow shoeing, etc. There are always events to grab your attention and keep you busy. Many restaurants, varied and good, round out the appeal. 1 hour drive from Kelowna, which is 1 hour flight from Vancouver. We much preferred Big White to Whistler. More down to earth and laid back, friendly, and affordable.
