Old Cowboy Ranch

Excellent place to visit for the entire family. Beautiful ranch with horses and peacocks. Lots to explore, hike, bike and quad. The owner is fantastic. We're looking forward to our next visit!

Rustic and serene, on the edge of the Kettle river, the camping is great and the farm animals and sounds are a welcome atmosphere for a holiday.

Just an amazing place to take kids camping. Spent the last couple days there (for the second time) camping. So much for the kids to do . Thanks again. Findlay family

Old cowboy ranch was a nice camping location. We stayed in site 6 although I recommend booking sites further down the camp. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was nice to go for walks and see horses, peacocks and chickens around the campsite. It was also awesome to have the river backing the campsites (with an option to float down the river for 3hrs+). The only complaints I have is that some of the sites were relatively close, we felt like we were one large site with our neighbouring sites. The other complaint is minor but you have some road noise from the hwy when louder vehicles drive by like motorbikes. And finally the facilities are just out house toilets which were extremely smelly.

We absolutely love coming to Old Cowboy Ranch! It's such a beautiful and peaceful place. It's right on the Kettle River. You can swim, float or fish in the summer. The ranch has a little store with some basic items, ice and treats. Also lots of trails for hiking or quadding, the ranch is surrounded by forrest.

We spent most of our summer weekends last year here and will be again this year! Johni and her staff do an amazing job making this ranch into such a beautiful place. Highly recommend staying here!
