I contacted Adam McLeod to help me when a debtor defaulted on an out-of-court payment agreement and decided to declare bankruptcy. I had previously been dealing with a major downtown law firm during the initial business dispute and Small Claims lawsuit, and was getting nowhere, and running out of funds to keep fighting.

Within hours of taking on my file, Adam unearthed significant assets that the debtor had attempted to hide by way of fraudulent conveyance, and that the large law firm had missed. Because of this revelation, the debtor was instead forced to submit a consumer proposal that involved paying off 100% of debts owed, not only to myself, but also to all other creditors.

The process of collecting the debt through a trustee was fraught with errors and omissions on the part of the trustee, and Adam was always on top of them to ensure proper procedures were being followed, and that the payments owed to me were delivered in as timely a manner as possible. He continually and relentlessly held the trustees to account to do their job properly, and provided the resources and advice for me to file a complaint with the OSB when it was clear that they did not.

Adam was a consummate professional, meticulous in his work, and provided a level of personalized and attentive service that went far beyond my expectations. He always took the time to explain everything to me, with great patience, and to keep me in the loop whenever he had dealings with the insolvency trustees or the other party's lawyer.
