Such an awesome guy the Owner/ Employee who assisted me today for a purolator parcel. Our package was massive and wouldnt fit a car and this gentleman was kind enough to offer us to drop off to package at our home in his car after their store closing. I politely declined his help as we didnt bother to anyone after their work, but I am amazed as how kind this person was as he didnt didnt havethave do that. Thank you sir, we will be back to buy those delicious fresh fruits and thanks for being so kind !
summertime, they carry osoyoos cherries, jams, and ciders. & i like their rootbeer and ginger ale
Friendly staff, previous U-Haul rental was late dropping the truck off but they got us set up as quickly as they could and let us keep it longer to compensate. Awesome fruit!
I had such an incredibly positive experience with this store today and cannot recommend it highly enough. Not only is it an expertly run Uhaul Neighbourhood Dealer, which I will be leaving a separate review regarding, but the couple who recently acquired ownership were extremely kind and welcoming.
The samosas they prepare in house are so, so affordable and generously filled, not to mention perfectly seasoned. The tamarind dipping sauce that comes with them is delicious and a beautiful compliment to the samosas. They're served hot and made throughout the day - if anyone working tells you there's a fresh batch on the way it's definitely worth the wait!
Another hot tip is that this location sells the most affordable cigarettes in (probably) the Vancouver area. For reference, Belmonts are usually $16-$17, here they're just under $14 (at the time of writing this review). And they have a fun little bucket of lighters by the till that cost $6.99 per "handful"; so bring your friends with large hands if you want the most bang for your buck, haha.
All in all - support local business. Support quality service. Support this store!
Small town vibes in a big city.
This market reminds me of growing up in a small town, laid back attitude and anything you could ask for from a small market like this one.
