Highly recommend Polka Dot to any new parents! Communication between teachers and parents has been great, with lots of updates throughout the day. Our son loves coming each day, and we are so sad to leave - your child will become a huge lover of the arts here! Lots of creativity in the art projects and even have a monthly focus on a country of the world. The registration and waitlist process was efficient and SO easy, with the director, Ellen, being very helpful and reachable. Thanks PKD!

We love it here! Our son is currently enrolled and it’s a very lovely place! The teachers are very nice and friendly and Ellen is also great! Communication is always good too. Our son used to cry badly at all the previous daycares but he doesn’t here. He loves it so much!

My daughter was always happy to go to this daycare, she loved the teachers miss Lucy & Mihye. They’re great and lovely with the babies and they give a great heads up everyday about how the day was. The manager Ellen is excellent, has great communication with the parents and is always available. Unfortunately, we moved her to a closer daycare, but definitely highly recommend Polka Dot.
On her last day, they gave her a photo of the class and a beautiful book, I thought that was so lovely.

Taking our little one to daycare for the first time ever (after spending a year with just me!) was incredibly hard. I wasn't familiar with the daycare process and became overwhelmed at the application process. But from the beginning, Polka Dot in Burnaby was an amazing facility. They were very careful with their COVID protocols when we first went to see the daycare, and throughout the time we were there. The baby teachers, Miss Lucy and Miss Mihye, were incredible with our little one. Of course, she cried on her first days, but she quickly warmed up to her teachers and loved going to school. They were great at communicating, and were always very open with us. The manager, Ellen, was amazing as well. Sadly we moved away, but we absolutely loved our experience with Polka Dot. I would recommend any hesitant parent to give them a chance!
