First time at Kokoro, not disappointed. There are many options in the kind of noodle- dry, with soup & mini rice dish. You need to take your time to read through it. If you don’t like certain items in the noodles such as no chives or onions. You can let the server knows when you are ordering your meal. The servers are accommodating, friendly & patient. They don’t rush you when you are taking the time to chose what you want. They give a lot of helpful suggestions on how to eat your meal. They even offer you a small bowl of rice to soak up the rest of the sauce. I chose a noodle where you break the egg & mix it with the noodle. It was good as it taste creamier. The taste of the noodles was so yummy!
The tables are separated by plexiglass, however do not chose the table closest to the door, you will see a lot of close foot traffic of people walking in & out. Otherwise, this is a great place to eat your noodles! Yummy to the Max!
Fresh food, a kind server. Foods Prepared fast. Gyoza was a bit plain- I think it could be better when dining in. It tasted house made. The main was good. Try Take out. They do good ? packing for each order, so you can be assured. It was impressed to see they put every single ingredient separately in little, cute container. Wish I could dine in one day after all this Covid issues are ended. One of the better places in the area, for sure.
I enjoyed the Mazesoba. I also tasted the Fuji cheese cup cake; it's delicious. It's tad a bit pricey though.
I was planning on trying Mazesoba for quite some time, and in current conditions went for a delivery. Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba offers very interesting options, so it wasn't easy to choose. I should say that this is my kind of dish – tons of flavor. However, if you are on some diet, it is definitely not a dish for you. Also, I think it would be great to try it in the restaurant when it's still piping hot, and pork lard is not solidifying.
The interior of this restaurant is beautiful! Probably one of my favourites in Vancouver / the lower mainland. My dish was very flavourful and I really liked the iced black tea. There is a decent variety of dishes on the menu, and the staff was kind. Apparently the ice cream here is great - I can’t wait to try!
