Legacy Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy

Legacy BJJ is a great gym that feels like a family! Ramtin is an amazing instructor and is great with my kids. He encourages them to grow as people and never puts them down. They are excited to go for training. I would strongly recommend training at Legacy BJJ and I am considering to start too!

I have known professor Ramtin for 7 yrs now. Both of my kids and I train here at Legacy BJJ Academy. He's a very knowledgeable coach and a great human being. The vibe here is good, supportive team and we are all one big family.

Legacy is a place for beginners, tenured jiu-jitsu practitioners and kids. Here's why:
Legacy is a place for those of us who are interested in trying out jiu-jitsu for the first time. Professor Ramtin is considerate and caring and wants to help grow individuals at their pace. No throwing white belts into the tank with senior belts and seeing how long they survive.

We're all here to help each other grow and learn while ensuring we take care of each other so everyone can go back to their day jobs the next day.

Legacy is also a place for those of us who are tenured jiu-jitsu practitioners. I train here because professor Ramtin is a great competitor and coach. He knows that memorizing techniques isn't the way to become better. We need to be able to learn and adapt the underlying principles to execute under pressure. The rounds in the advanced classes are hard rounds where I get my butt handed to me daily but am given advice on how to improve in the next round by both my immediate training partners and professor Ramtin.

Legacy is also a place for kids. My daughters trained under Ramtin as young children and they absolutely gush with praise about how they loved attending class. A pinch of technique, a pinch of fun and a pinch of discipline leads to kids sticking through the initial stress of having to face off against a training partner for the first or the fiftieth time. Side note: All kids need to know jiu-jitsu to build the "grit" needed in life on and off the mats.

This is a fantastic school to learn jiu-jitsu from a highly knowledgeable instructor. The facility is clean, modern, and well maintained. The students are welcoming and helpful towards each other.
