I'm in the process of a basement renovation, and discovered what I thought was mold on my joists. I contacted urban environmental for a free estimate and Trevor came by today to have a look.
Trevor had a look and explained that what I was seeing wasn't actually mold, and pointed out the minor areas where there was some.
He suggested that he wouldn't feel right charging me their minimum fee to remove it, and suggested I could easily do it myself for a fraction of the cost. He provided me with tips and a source to contact to test the air quality after.
This type of honesty ensures that if I ever were to have a significant problem, these are the folks I'd be reaching out to 100%.
