ARTSSA Skating Academy

Me and daughter were in town for a week to visit families. My daughter wanted to continue to train while away so I contacted multiple rinks in the greater Vancouver area. Anastasia was the first to get back to me. She efficiently send me a drop in schedule for my daughter so without a doubt I signed her up right away! The facility at Planet Ice is magnificent, I was pleasantly surprised that their skate group has private ice all to themselves. And they offer off ice training!! Braylen worked with Pavel mostly, he is an awesome coach who gave her plenty of good tips. The whole environment and experience were indeed very pleasant, we cannot wait to return whenever we are in town again!

Highly recommended! The ARTSSA coaches are amazing! I have started the adult figure skating program in October 2021 and from only being able to go in circles and around the rink, I’m now starting to learn couple of single jumps, spins, edge work and on ice dances! Anastasia and Pavel are extremely meticulous and detail oriented, their coaching techniques are superb, always patient and full of great instructions and tips on how to improve skating techniques. Anastasia is also a fantastic choreographer. New skaters are frequently coming in to work on their solo programs. I have also signed up two of my kids for the learn to skate with ARTSSA. They are both loving it, the environment is so fun for the kids. It’s very personal and each kid gets the coaching attention.

I highly recommend this club. My daughter has been part of this club for just 2 years and she has improved a lot with her skating skills. Both Anastasia and Pavel (club coaches) has been working really hard to utilize the skating skills of all the members and teach them professionally at the same time. Me and my family watched the previous ice show (March 2022) and we are so amazed with the kids talent. We have never seen our daughter skate like that before, she certainly improved a lot and gained more confidence, big thanks to Anastasia and Pavel. There is no doubt that this club doesn't only focus on teaching but also the safety of all the members.
