Update:
How this decision was made with significant communication is beyond me, especially when we haven't seen or heard from any of your sales reps in over a year until recently. Not to mention that no order minimums, nor changes to ordering systems were communicated. Anyways, putting all that aside, I wanted to update my rating as Kelly Gifford has decided to work with us to come to a common ground and so I want to thank her for her cooperation in this matter and look forward to our continued business together.
Original Post:
Sales rep Kelly Gifford has a very rude and disrespectful demeanor and should be reprimanded and trained accordingly. We have a small business and for the longest time, we would have a Transcold rep come in to place an order for the ice cream freezer, however, I have not seen this rep in the past year and a half. I waited for a few months to see if the rep would come by, but they never did. I ended up calling into Transcold and placing an order which did arrive. Since then, I have made numerous attempts to get an order placed, to no avail. A couple weeks back, Kelly Gifford came in and advised me, that since we did not meet their order threshold, that our freezer would be picked up. When I explained to her that the rep used to come and take the order, she advised me, for the very first time ever, that the reps are not being sent to the stores to take orders anymore and that you have to call them in. When I told her that nobody informed us of this change, therefore how are we supposed to know of the change to the ordering system, and that I have been calling in to try and place an order for a while now, she just shrugged her shoulders, as if to say too bad. I had finally gotten through to place an order shortly after this, however I received another call from Kelly the day before the order was supposed to arrive informing me that the freezer in question is scheduled for pickup and that if I have another freezer to put the order in, which I do not. She is not offering any cooperation on her part to leave the freezer until the product has sold or to re-reimburse the product that is already in the freezer, since they are making the decision to remove it, even though I have no where to put it.
They always make sure Canada has ice cream in Summer.
