Food isn’t great, but the housing is good

Clean, concierge-style student accommodations in a modern setting specifically conducive to the right mix of social, studies and clean, quiet accommodations with an excellent kitchen to boot.

My experience here with the staff was very hit or miss. There's been a few terrible experiences with the staff but I've also had seen some very kind staff. So far the dining area staff(cashiers) have made mistakes and shamed me for their mistake, I've felt judged and shamed if I made a mistake by the front desk receptionist(from now on I know which guy to avoid so I'll wait till his shift is over before going to the front desk for help), but I've yet to have a negative experience with the cleaning staff. I've often run into the cleaning staff and they've always been very kind towards me. Overall, I really love the design of orchard but the staff is very hit or miss.

I stayed there for a conference. The rooms are small, and 2 rooms share a bathroom, but it's clean and all you really need. The UBC grounds however are fantastic during the summer. It wakes it nice to stay here.

Very new construction. Not free access. Public restrooms available at the first floor, very clean. Front desk and customer service available at the entrance. Pretty quiet and comfortable environment. Parking lot available across street, parking is not free. Overall, I would recommend it.
